Our registration process consists of two steps. Please note, both steps must be completed before you can deposit or place a bet.
Step One:
Create an account by visiting https://sportsbetrhodeisland.com/sports from your computer or mobile device. If you are using a mobile device, you will then need to download the app to continue the registration process.
Step Two:
Once your account is created, you will receive an email containing a link used to verify your email address. Click the link to verify and step two will be completed. Please note - this link will expire in 24 hours. Also, if you do not see the verification email in your inbox, please be sure to also check your junk and spam email folders.

Please review the information that you entered on the registration application to make sure that it matches the information on your government issued ID. If the information matches, please complete our guided online verification process. You can do this by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to “MY PROFILE”, “Account Verification”
  2. Click on the Guided Verification process.
  3. Verify your email (if necessary) by providing following the instruction on the screen.
  4. Verify your identity by uploading personal identity documents when following the instructions on the screen.

Please allow up to 24 hours for your documents to be verified.

You can also verify your identity by visiting either the Bally’s Twin River Casino or the Bally’s Tiverton Casino for our in-person verification process. Prior to visiting the casino, please call Player Support 1-800-248-2511; they will give you additional information on the in-person verification process including what documents to bring to the casino.

No, you must first verify your email address (step 2 of the registration process) to complete the verification and activation process. Once completed, you must set up two-factor authentication and then you will be able to begin depositing.

From the login page, click on “Forgot Your Password?”. You will be asked to enter your email address and click “send email”. You should receive an email in 1-15 minutes. After receiving this password reset email you can click on “reset my password” and follow the instructions given.

You may update your email address from the "MY PROFILE" section of our site by selecting "Account Settings” and navigating to “Personal Details”. Please note, you will need to verify this new email address and until you do so you will be prevented from depositing and wagering with Sportsbook Rhode Island.

Two factor authentication (2FA) is an extra level of security applied to your account to ensure that you are the only individual logging into your account. Enabling 2FA is required. If you would like to review or adjust the 2FA settings on your account, follow the steps below.

Setting up 2FA:

  • After registering, once you’re fully verified you’ll be guided through the process to set up 2FA.
  • To review or adjust your 2FA settings, select “My profile”, “Account Settings”, “Security Settings”, and then choose either Phone or Authenticator as your extra level of security. If you choose to set up both, the Authenticator App will be used as the default, but during login you may elect to have a code sent to your phone instead.
  • Next, you have the option to use two-factor authentication with account recovery (when changing your password or using the “Forgot Your Password?” option at login).
  • How 2FA is used:

  • Login to your Sportsbook Rhode Island Account with username/email and password
  • You will see a popup asking you to provide your verification code. This numerical code will be either texted to you, or received in an authentication app, depending on the option you’ve chosen to enable.
  • Enter the code and proceed with logging into your Sportsbook Rhode Island account.
    • Note: You’ll have the option to check a box to “Trust this device.” By checking the box, the device you’re using will be trusted for 14 days, and for those 14 days you will not be required to log in with a 2FA verification code on that device. This feature should only be used on personal, not shared/public, devices or computers. If for some reason during that 14-day period, you would like to stop trusting your device, please call Player Support.

    You can alter any notifications that you wish to receive from Sportsbook Rhode Island by navigating to MY PROFILE, “Account Settings”, and “Notification Preferences”. Each type of notification can be sent by one or both of the following methods.

  • Email – Notification sent to the email address associated with your Sportsbook Rhode Island account.
  • Push - Notification sent to your mobile device which is registered on your Sportsbook Rhode Island account.

    No, you do not need to be a resident of Rhode Island; however, you must be within the borders of the state of Rhode Island to place a bet. If you travel outside the state of Rhode Island, you will not be able to play until you are once again within the borders.
    While you are unable to place bets while outside of Rhode Island, you will have the ability to review your account history among other features.

    Our geo-location technology uses information from nearby Wi-Fi networks, among other data, to determine your location. Before you proceed, please ensure you are using a device that has Wi-Fi enabled and it is pulling a signal.

    If you do not have a Wi-Fi adapter physically installed on your desktop computer or laptop (most laptops have Wi-Fi adapters built in), you will need to purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter. Many players have found success using a Wi-Fi Adapter which can be purchased at most major retailers and/or electronic stores.
    You will need to download the geo-location plugin for us to locate you so you can place bets. Please make sure pop-ups are enabled for the plugin to run.

    Our website is best compatible with Google Chrome. However, if you chose to use a different browser please be aware that our geo-location plugin is a 32-bit application, which means that it may encounter technical issues when in use with a 64-bit internet browser.

    Please follow these steps to download and use our geo-location plugin:

    1. After logging into the site click on the event you will like to bet on, the site will check your location and ask you to download the geolocation software. 
    2. Click on the "Download" button and you will see the application appear on the bottom left of your screen.
    3. Click on this button and a pop-up will appear, asking you to Run the application. Please click ""Run"" and continue.
    4. This will initiate the plugin and will allow us to verify that you are inside the state of Rhode Island. Once the plugin is running, you will be able to deposit and place bets!

    If you believe that you are within the Rhode Island state borders and you are being restricted from placing a bet on your device, there may be an issue with locating you via Wi-Fi. Check to make sure that you have your computer's Wi-Fi signal/capability turned on. If your computer is not equipped with Wi-Fi, many players have found success using a Wi-Fi Adapter which can be purchased at most major retailers and/or electronic stores.

Ideally, your computer's or device's Wi-Fi should detect at least two Wi-Fi networks, other than yours, within range. Purchasing a Wi-Fi extender may improve the number of available Wi-Fi networks displayed in your area.

    If you believe that you are within the Rhode Island state borders and you are being restricted from placing a bet on your mobile device, there may be an issue with locating you via Wi-Fi. Check to make sure that your mobile device has Wi-Fi on, you do not need to be connected to Wi-Fi. However, your Wi-Fi must be enabled. Next, turn on your location services and ensure they are also enabled for the Sportsbook Rhode Island mobile app.

    You may play on a mobile device using your 3G or 4G connection. However, please keep in mind that your connection will be much quicker on Wi-Fi and the app may not perform optimally when the mobile connection is poor. Additionally, you will be responsible for any mobile data charged incurred while playing.

    This means that there is a program installed on your computer that prevents the Geo Location plug-in from working. This ensures that users from outside Rhode Island would not be able to access the games.

    Virtual Networks Should you be using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) this will cause the plug-in to not work correctly and block your account from accessing games. Please use your own network connection, which is provided by your Internet Service Provider.

    Remote Desktop Software Remote desktop software, for example LogMeIn and GoToMyPc would need to be disabled.

    Deposit & Withdrawal Deposit & Withdrawal

    At this time, you may fund your account using a Debit Card, bank account by the means of Automated Clearing House (ACH), Apple Pay, or Cash Deposit at the Sportsbook in either casino. ACH E-check is a secure, convenient, online deposit and withdrawal method, offered by Pavilion Payment VIP Preferred. It can be used to transfer funds directly to and from your checking or savings account into your Sportsbook Rhode Island online account. Please follow these steps, to make a deposit with your bank account:

    1. Log into your account and enter the "My Account" section.
    2. Click on the "Deposit" button.
    3. Select "Bank Transfer" as a deposit method:
      • If you have not deposited using 'E-Check' before, you will need to enroll in Global Payments VIP Preferred™ E-Check service.
      • If you have used 'E-Check' as a deposit method in the past, you have been automatically enrolled to Global Payments VIP Preferred™ E-Check service.
    4. Enter your banking information or automatically link to your bank using Plaid. Please note - most players find the automatic method of linking to their bank easier than manually entering their bank account information so automatic is the preferred ACH linking method.
    5. Submit the request
      Funds will be immediately available. Please note that your bank account can be debited up to 48 hours after the deposit transaction has taken place.
      Note: Using E-Check requires a US bank account. Deposit limits are subject to individual banking statuses and are displayed upon enrolling in the VIP Preferred™ E-Check service.

    To enroll in Pavilion Payments' VIP Preferred™ E-Check service, login to your account, click on 'My Account' and select 'Deposit.' Click on the button labeled 'ACH Bank Transfer".

    For manual entry, at a minimum you will be required to provide the following information in order to complete the enrollment process:
    Driver's License Issuing Country
    Driver's License ID Number
    Driver's License Expiration Date
    Bank Account Number (middle number at the bottom of your check) and Bank Routing Number (leftmost number at the bottom of your check).
    For automated entry, select "Link Your Bank." You will be forwarded to Plaid to choose your banking institution. After selecting your bank, you then log in to your bank account and complete the steps to link your bank account to your player wallet.

    If approved and successfully enrolled, you will be assigned a seven-day revolving deposit limit. Your limit will be honored as long as you do not exceed your assigned limit and your account remains in good standing. Note: Your VIP Preferred™ limit is based on your bank account standing and previous deposit history; it is independent of any responsible gambling limits that you may have setup on your Sportsbook Rhode Island online account.

    Yes, you can deposit and withdraw while located outside the state of Rhode Island.

    No, you may only initiate a withdrawal to the same account used to fund your account.

    Once you have requested a withdrawal online, it will typically take us 24hrs to process it. Once the withdrawal is process on our end, it will take 3-5 business days for the bank to process the funds into your bank account.

    For most winning bets, the money will be deposited into the player wallet soon after all events wagered on are complete and a winner is determined. Please see below for wins requiring IRS notification and tax withholding.

    Winnings are reported and taxed in accordance with IRS requirements
    Winnings reported to the IRS - Any single wager paying three hundred (300) times the amount wagered and that is at least six hundred dollars ($600) is reported to the IRS.
    Winnings reported to the IRS and taxed - If any winnings minus the amount wagered exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) and the winnings are at least 300x the wager, federal taxes are withheld and the winnings are reported to the IRS.
    In either instance, it is the account holder's responsibility to come to Sportsbook Rhode Island (Twin River or Tiverton locations) to complete the W-2G.

    Withdrawal of winnings directly to your debit card is available after the payment card has gone through successful FAF registration. FAF registration can be done by following a few easy steps:

    If you currently have a debit card on file

    1. Delete the card that is on your account.
    2. Reenter the information from the card that was on your account (or enter the information from a completely new card).

    If you do not have a debit card on file

    1. Add a new debit card by entering the card information on your account.

    After registering (or re-registering) your debit card, a screen will notify you what type of transaction(s) the card is eligible for…

    Deposit only screen

    After FAF registration is complete, a deposit from your debit may be necessary prior to withdrawal being available. After the deposit is made, the ability to withdraw funds directly to your payment card will become available. The debit card withdrawal option can be seen within the cashier section of the SBRI app and/or website. After selecting “withdrawal” you’ll see that the payment card withdrawal is now an option.

    Steps for registering Apple Pay as a payment method on your Sportsbook Rhode Island account:

    1. After signing into your Sportsbook Rhode Island account navigate to "My Profile" and select "Deposit"
    2. At the bottom of the screen - find and select "Add new payment method"
    3. Select "Apple Pay" and continue to make a deposit by selecting the deposit amount while continuing to confirm both amount and source (Apple Pay)
    4. When confirming the deposit, you will be prompted to select which payment source you want to use that is linked within your Apple Pay account (ie. Visa, Mastercard, etc...)
      • Please keep in mind that Sportsbook Rhode Island does not accept Credit Cards as a payment method. Therefore, a deposit attempt using a credit card linked to Apple Pay will not be processed.
      • You must select a debit card from a bank that allows transactions related to sports wagering / gambling. In other words, if you cannot successfully add this debit card onto your Sportsbook Rhode Island account; you will not be able to use the debit card via Apple Pay.
    5. After confirming the amount and source you will be directed to a "Transaction Successful" screen which provides details such as transaction ID, amount, and date.

    Making a Deposit using Apple Pay after it is a registered payment method:

    1. After signing into your Sportsbook Rhode Island account navigate to "My Profile" and select "Deposit"
    2. If Apple Pay is not your only registered deposit method, select "Deposit Funds" and "change payment method" and select "Apple Pay" as the deposit method.
    3. Enter the amount you wish to deposit and follow the same steps as #3-5 located above.

    IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Apple Pay is only available on iOS and Mac devices.
  • Apple Pay is a deposit method only.
  • Funds in your Sportsbook Rhode Island player wallet cannot be withdrawn using Apple Pay but can be withdrawn with ACH (bank transfer), Fast Access Funding (debit card withdrawal), and by casino check.

    You can locate all your account’s pending transactions in your Account Summary. Access Account Summary under My Profile. A pending transaction is generally a withdrawal which is being processed.

    Please visit either the Bally’s Lincoln or Tiverton Casino with your official government issued photo ID, Sportsbook Rhode Island Account number, and the amount of cash you wish to deposit. You can find your Sportsbook Rhode Island Account number by signing into your mobile account and navigating to “My Profile”. Here you can see your account number (9 digits) located at the top of the screen directly under your name.     You can view your game history by navigating to “MY PROFILE” and selecting “Bet History”. Filter the date range and you can see both active and previously settled wagers that you have made.

    The Sportsbook Rhode Island iOS app supports all Apple devices running v13 or higher and the Android app supports all devices running Android 10 or higher.

    The Sportsbook Rhode Island app can be downloaded from both the Apple Store, for iPhones, and the Google Play Store, for Androids.

    If you are experiencing issues opening our mobile app, please follow these steps:

    1. Force quit the app. Close the app and open it again.
    2. Restart your device. Restart your mobile device, then please try to launch our app again.
    3. Check for updates. Make sure that your mobile device has the latest version of our mobile app and the device operation system.
    4. Delete and reinstall the app.

    You can access and download all W2G’s associated with your Sportsbook Rhode Island account by navigating to “My Profile” and selecting “W2G Forms”. Select a date range in which you would like to search. If you have won a wager which was deemed taxable (above 300-1 odds) then you will see a W2G form located on this page.

    If you would like to see your win/loss statistics, please navigate to “MY PROFILE”, then go to Account Summary”, and Career Stats (Win statistics).

    For most sports, Sportsbook Rhode Island provides live event score tracking through live feed Scoreboards. The Scoreboards can be seen on the top of the screen after navigating to the specific event, game, or match.

    Please be aware that the Scoreboards may have a delay in the live feed and/or may be inaccurate. The Scoreboards / score tracking for live events are displayed by Sportsbook Rhode Island strictly for player entertainment. If you rely on this live feed data to place bets, you will be doing so entirely at your own risk and Sportsbook Rhode Island will not accept responsibility for any loss.

    Sportsbook Rhode Island recommends that you review additional data sources such as official league updates, live streaming, and a specific event’s governing body for the most current scores.

    Your active promotions can be found by navigating to “MY PROFILE”, then go to Promotions and then Active Vouchers. Here you can see all your current Bonus Bets or Profit Boosts with a description of how they may be used along with their remaining balance and expiration date. If you have an active promotion, it will need to be selected on your bet slip when making a wager.

    A Profit Boost allows you to increase the potential profit on a winning bet. Essentially, if your boosted bet wins, you'll receive a larger payout than you would have without the boost.

    For example: If you place a $10 bet at +200 odds, your profit would typically be $20. With a 25% profit boost, you would get an extra $5 (25% of the normal $20 profit without a profit boost), for a total profit of $25.

    All Bonus Funds are considered Free bets and therefore are not seen as a cash balance on your Sportsbook Rhode Island account. These funds are used to cover the cost of your wagers.

    When your wager includes a Bonus Bet, only the winnings and the cash stake are returned to you. You do not get the Bonus portion of the stake returned to you when the bet wins.

    For example, if you place a ten-dollar ($10) wager, the wager shall be funded with five dollars ($5) from your cash balance and five dollars ($5) from the Bonus Bet.

    Using the example above, and assuming it’s a $10 money line wager placed at -110, since the wager includes Bonus Bet funds ($5) and cash ($5), the total payout on a winning bet will be $14.09 ($9.09 winnings + $5 cash). In comparison, if that same wager had been placed with all cash ($10), the total payout would be $19.09 ($9.09 winnings + $10 cash).
